EUROPE'S LARGEST AND MOST COMPREHENSIVE RESEARCH COLLECTION
ON DEVELOPMENT
Built up over thirty years, the British Library for Development
Studies (BLDS) at the Institute of Development Studies in Sussex
is a unique resource. It has an extensive collection of
government publications and the published outputs of NGOs and
research institutes worldwide. The BLDS major international
collection includes substantial holdings of United Nations and
World Trade Organization publications and most series and
monograph publications of the World Bank.
In addition, over 200 significant development journals are
regularly scanned and selected articles added to the BLDS
