The North Staffordshire Railway Study Group (NSRSG) was formed in 1995 to bring together people with an interest in the North Staffordshire Railway, in order to increase the knowledge of the railway, and therefore to improve the understanding of its role in the community it served. Its main aims are:
1. to gather together as much surviving information as there is about the NSR
2. to try to ensure that it is not lost
3. to make such information more widely available to those who have an interest in the railway.

This e-mail discussion list is open to all members of the NSR Study Group to help achieve these aims, and is intended as an unmoderated free-flow of news and information. It is a "virtual meeting", open at all times, governed only by the rules of "netiquette"; so please only express yourself in ways which would be acceptable if talking face to face.

Current membership of the NSR Study Group is a requirement to belong to the list, so e-mail messages requesting subscription to the list will be checked against the current Study Group list of paid-up members. Please accept my apologies if this takes a day or two to complete.

This e-mail discussion list is not intended to replace either the Journal or Newsletter in any way and any items of importance to the membership as a whole should still appear in the Newsletter or Journal as appropriate.
