| OK, Grist fans: pull out the beads and pull up your shirts, because it's time for Mardi Grist! We're kidding about the shirts -- we would never be so crass. But we're not kidding about the party: Grist is coming to New York City on February 28, and we want to meet you. Come talk with fellow greens, enjoy scrumptious food and drinks, and revel with a good conscience -- we're donating a quarter of the evening's net proceeds to New Orleans-area environmental groups. We know you have an insatiable thirst for information (why else would you read Grist?), so we've included details below. But we recommend going right to the RSVP page WHO: You (and yours, if they're available) WHEN: Tuesday, February 28, 6-9 p.m. WHERE: Gstaad, 43 West 26th St., (between 6th and Broadway) in Chelsea. WHY: Really, we haven't convinced you yet? Well, you'll get to meet Grist folks, enjoy savories and sweets donated by the infamous Chanterelle Restaurant and other lip-smacking establishments, get a chance to win dinner for two at Blue Hill Restaurant, and help hurricane relief efforts. Not bad for a night's work. WHAT'S IT GONNA RUN ME: $20 in advance, $30 at the door WHAT DO I DO NOW: RSVP, of course! Space is limited. |
