Thought I'd let folks know that I finally found a local supplier for biodegradable peanuts in less-than-truckload quantities and relatively reasonable pricing. Pathe Shipping Supplies, www.pathesupplies.com, has them for $25 per 14 cubic foot bag, and delivers with a minimum order of $100.

I have one more bag here than I can comfortably store, btw, if anyone has need of a single bag, at cost.
