hi,can you tell give me some info about 2000i?i know i can go to the web but i
orefer to her from you.
sory to bother you.
thank you very much
jack
Thanks for the input, I really apreciate it! With
BMI, do you have to use their cable box or any cable
box in general? (I think they were charging $350 for
their box) I presently have a DSS satellite dish with a
box, can I use this setup?

Why 1000 symbols on
E-signal ? Is it a limit or just slow?

Thanks
again..

Will
I use BMI through the cable TV connection. Gives
me lots of realtime data. If you have a cable modem
and want realtime data on no more than 1000(?)
symbols then the E connection would be good.

Chad
I don't have the Suite, but just TradeStation
2000i - I think that RadarScreen sounds very usefull,
but I don't trade Options, so I'm not sure about
spending the extra cash for the suite. Looks like they are
going to offer RadarScreen as a stand alone soon so I
think I'll wait and see if they offer a special on that
later.

BTW, what data feed do you use - I presently use
Interqouote - but it is not supported by TradeStation. I have
a couple of months left on my account with IQ, so I
need to make a decision soon. I looked at all of them,
with E-Signal being the cheapest so far - any
thoughts?

thanks,

Will
Good for you. The learning curve is steep and
there were some "quirks" in first release. Lots of
Omega bashing on other threads but not here.

I
use it to scan 2500+ stocks on a closing basis using
Gary B. Smith (TheStreet.com tech guy) scans using the
RADAR screen and then monitor realtime a 9000 stock
base realtime. I'm ok with the software but the
systems are not making me money.

Good
Luck

Chad
Hi just joined the club, I'm a vetran Supercharts
user - anyone else using 2000i? I've been "trial"
testing the program for 3 weeks and I decided to keep it.
It has some annoyances but sure has some great
improvements /features too.

Will
Yes, I have seen something like that. I
personally know a few people in Chicago that probably could
help, but there is a EL expert in New York that could
get your information quick.

His name is
Stanley Dash. Phone 718-761-2257

I believe his
e-mail is: sad16775@...

I met him at
Omegaworld. He is an expert in EL.

Let me know how
things go!

Regards,

William

I'm very
happy with my ProSuite with all its' bells.
Has anyone seen EL code for TS that defines a
support/resistance level value over some 20-50 bar period of
history? I've seen 52 week hi/low, but looking for
something that averages{?} pivot points.

Thanks

PS I'm happy with the SR 2 version of
OptionStation...

Chad
mega is posting notes on their website, but
users can't. In their testimonials, one of the people
listed (Fontanills?) is a paid speaker for them. Another
is listed as from Deluth, Georgia - there is no such
place.

Gee, I wonder if they've rigged their
testimonials?
thought I would share with this club site that
I personally attended OmegaWorld99, and there were
over 1,000 people there with 50 guest speakers and
other industry leaders. The conference was held in Las
Vegas at Caesar's Palace. The people that attended were
all very serious and excited about the new technology
of ProSuite 2000i. In particular, people were crazy
about Omega's new OptionStations. It was standing room
only for the workshops that focused on options in
general. Overall, the conference was a premier first-class
job dedicated to system trading and development. For
further information, Omega is posting notes on their web
site at : www.omegaresearch.com

Regards,
lad to know someone is happy with Omega. I've
spoken with other users who have put in the time to get
OptionStation up and running and haven't been able to. They
also ran up against the same problem with customer
support.

Did you know about the bug in the downloader for
Supercharts RT? Stocks that split are not reflected
correctly. I spent lots of time on the phone with the head
tech guru and they couldn't figure it out.
f you are not afriad to work and study, then the
product is for you. If you like to take the easy path,
then Omega's products are not for you. There is a
reason why Omega's products are by far and away the most
expensive on the marketplace --- it is because they are by
far and way the best. This is not to say the company
is doing the "best" job getting the new technology
out to people. I'm also frustrated, at times, with
Omega's technical support. But all in all, I'm getting
what I paid for --- the best technology on the
marketplace for writing systems and trading. Again, if you
are looking for the easy path, then Omega is probably
not suitable for you.
went to the workshop in October in Chicago. The
teacher (who is the guy on the Optionstation video) said
they'd be coming out with a new version of the
downloader, which they' give away. They didn't.

I've
done all the training possible. Omega isn't providing
support as they should.
es, it is true that it is hard work to get
everything working, but the products are very strong tools
once you set them up. I'm running all the new products
and *yes* I had some frustrations, but all in all I'm
very pleased.

Making money trading is hard
work, just like anything else. Getting the new version
for Omega is hard work, but it pays off. I have
advise for those having a hard time: go to the
workshops. They are helpful.
on't buy OptionStation!! Here's my
experience:

1. The first version was very, very, very difficult
to use. Never did get it up and running
smoothly,
2. Really hard to get through to tech support. You
usually get a busy signal or put on hold for 30
minutes,
3. Many of the tech support people barely speak any
English, which makes them very hard to understand,
4. I
took the new version, which I was told by all the
folks at Omega was going to be better, faster, easier
to use...well it isn't.
5. There are bugs in the
downloader, which cause splits to not be shown correctly.
When brought to their attention, they didn't
correct.
6. They overcharged me $450. When brought to their
attention, they refused to give me a refund.

Need any
other reasons not to buy it?
ello. Anyone going to Las Vegas this May 21-23
for Omegaworld 99 conference?

I'm
going.

My e-mail is: striker@...
My firm web

recommend for traders who are looking for larger than
