I agree. Why make the matters more complicated to the non-roadgeek by having
another 407?
If the freeway were to go to Vaughan, I'd terminate somewhere north of the 400
Services Centre between the King Road and (almost open) Teston Road
Interchanges. Somewhere like Kirby Sideroad or King/Vaughan Rd. Then relocate
one of the service centres.
Have the highway connect to the Hanlon Expressway and let it head north of the
Guelph city limits and proceed towards the 400.
In my opinion interchanges would be located at the following locations:
Note: I am talking pre downloads when it comes to interchanges to make it clear
for everyone.
-Highway 7/8 Stratford (Freeway starts right at the end of the limits)
-Highway 59 south of Shakespeare
-Waterloo Rd. 1
-Waterloo Rd. 5 (North of New Hamburg)
-Current freeway starts here
-Highway 85
-Waterloo Rd. 17 (to service the airport)
-Waterloo Rd. 30
-Highway 86 (Elmira Rd.)
-Hanlon Expressway
-Highway 6 (Towards Fergus)
-Highway 24 (Eramosa Rd)
-Wellington Rd. 29
-Wellington Rd. 27
-Wellington Rd. 50
-Highway 25 north of Acton
-Highway 7 (betweeen Silver Creek and Wildwood)
-Confederation Street (North of Georgetown)
-Halton Rd. 19 (Winston Churchill Blvd)
-Highway 410 (future)
-Peel Rd. 4 (Dixie Rd.)
-Peel Rd. 7 (Airport Rd.)
-Peel Rd. 8 (The Gore Rd.)
-Highway 50
-Highway 427 (Future)
-Highway 27 (Between Nobleton/Klienburg)
-Highway 400
Just my 2 cents.
