Abstract
Illumina's VeraCode technology, based on digital holographic encoding of glass microparticles, enables an unprecedented capability in flexible, high throughput assays. The basis of the technology will be discussed as well as applications to multiplexed nucleic acid and protein assays.
John Moon is Principal Scientist at Illumina Corporation. Prior to Illumina, he was Chief Technology Officer and a founder of CyVera Corporation, which was acquired by Illumina in 2005 for the multiplexing technology John invented. He is the author of over 30 scientific publications and issued US patents. John received a Ph.D. in condensed matter physics from Brown University.
