called for the interview had already passed the first major hurdle of
contacting the employer and getting their information in their hands
with the OU Job Board’s submission of the resume to the employer.

Are you frustrated that your application to an employer often goes
unanswered? Do you ask yourself why is “no-one getting back to me?”
The OU Job Board may have the answer. In a new test imitative, the OU
Job Board will soon make available a simple form for you to fill out
every time you send a job application to an employer listed on the OU
Job Board. This application will ask you for your name, job number and
employer contact e mail. If you do not hear back from the employer in
a week, the OU Job Board will directly intervene to ascertain where
your application is “at” and try to get immediate answers for you .
Hopefully this will lesson the anxiety of waiting and move the process
along. This particular feature is on a test basis and will be free of
charge at this time
