Contributions are always welcome, and may be tax-deductible. We offer special works of art and other O&W-related items as premiums for donations to our Archives Fund - please ask for details. Reprints of some of our archival material, as well as original NYO&W paper goods and OBSERVER back issues, are offered in our Sales List. It's available for the asking.

Please come to one of our activities and meet our officers and members. We meet at 7:30 p.m. at the Senior Center at 65-70 West Main Street in Middletown, NY. A railroading program follows a short business meeting. Guests and prospective members are always welcome. Please check the website for a more detailed schedule of meetings and events.

Our annual banquet is held on a Saturday in November. But you don't have to be near Middletown to enjoy Society membership - our 750 members live in more than 35 states and several countries!

The O&WRHS is proud to present its 2012 Calendar Featuring the Photos of Don Furler. See the O&W through the eyes of gifted rail photographer Don Furler as he captures the Old & Wondrous in Orange and Sullivan Counties. Middletown (AV), Firthcliffe (MX), Rock Tavern, Burnside (BS), Crystal Run (CR), Summitville (SV), and more! Jeff Otto narrates each scene, many which are interspersed with photos, maps, drawings, and collectibles from the O&WRHS's archives and members.
