Earl Edward "Smitty" Smith - 1900 - 1982 - On-the-job Photos.
This is more than worth taking a look at just for the photos alone. I have talked to the grandaughter of Earl Smith via e-mail and this is one dynamite family. See if you can find the O&W flat car.

Santa Claus Train Ride in NJ
Each year in the winter the Volunteer Railroaders Association aka VRA runs several Santa Claus trains rides. During the approximately 90 minute ride Santa Claus will go through the train and visits each child, giving them a special gift from his bag. In addition to Santa Claus there will be other surprise characters that will also visit each child. Each child can have his or her picture taken with Santa Claus so they can always remember their ride, so bring your cameras.
