everyone is publishing a e-zine nowadays so it's important
to give something extra with the free subscription. You could
offer a free gift or advertising when people subscribe.

2. Provide your visitors with free content. Your content will
be more attractive to your visitors if it's up-to-date or
original. You could also offer people the option to reprint
the content in their e-zine or web site.

3. Offer a free online directory. The directory could be full
of interesting ebooks, e-zines, websites etc. If people find
your directory to be a valuable resource they will visit it
over and over.

4. Give your visitors a free ebook. You could also include
your own ad in the ebook and allow other people to give it
away. If you don't want to take the time to write one, you
could ask other writers permission to use their articles.

5. Hold free online classes or seminars. They could be held
in your web site's chat room. The idea of "live" information
will definitely entice people to visit your web site. You
will become known as an expert on the topic.

6. Give visitors a free entry into your contest or sweepstakes.
The prizes should be something of interest or value to your
visitors. Most people who enter will continually revisit your
website to get the results.

7. Let visitors download free software. It could be freeware,
shareware, demos etc. You could even turn part of your site
into a free software directory. If you created the software,
include your ad inside and let other people give it away.

8. Offer free online services or utilities from your website.
They could be search engine submitting, copy writing proofreading
etc. The service or utility should be helpful to your target
audience.

9. Give free consulting to people who visit your website.
You could offer your knowledge via e-mail or by telephone.
People will consider this a huge value because consulting

Mind Your Self-Talk

While your Inner Critic acts as a pre-recorded tape of
pessimism, Self-Talk is the internal dialogue that brings
positive results.

Along with your Inner Critic, Self-Talk is a constant, running
dialogue in your conscious and unconscious mind that can be
self-limiting unless you become aware of it and use it to empower
you. Negative Self-Talk can come from inside of you or
from the outside world and the given circumstances. We are
the results of how we see ourselves, how we communicate
with ourselves, and how we have been programmed. Be aware of
who and what is programming your brain. Surround yourself
with people who validate your beliefs and encourage your
ideas, so that they can help you reach your positive outcomes.
If we allow others to make our decisions for us, we become
voluntary slaves.

Wilder Penfield said, Every thought you've ever had is stored
in your brain and remembered forever! Fill that storage bin
with positive thoughts!

The mind does not make value judgments about the information
it is programmed with. When garbage has been programmed
into the unconscious, the outcome will be garbage!

GARBAGE IN = GARBAGE OUT

Here are some examples.

GI (Misinformation): Actors are fake.
GO (Limited Behavior): You feel uncomfortable about acting.

GI (Misinformation): Big men don't cry
GO (Limited Behavior): Men develop stress-related illness.

GI (Misinformation): The Jones' are clumsy.
GO (Limited Behavior): Bill Jones is accident prone.

GI (Misinformation): To be creative you've Got to have "it"
GO (Limited Behavior): Lots of people miss out on developing
their creativity because they think they don't have IT.

Internal Negative Self-Talk includes statements like:

* How could I be so dumb?

* What's wrong with me?

* I'll never be able to act like a professional.

* I won't get far without a college degree.

What happens if you accept this negative Self-Talk? EVERY
statement you make to yourself programs your unconscious mind,
and creates a belief system. By accepting negative Self-Talk,
you shut down and become ineffective in life. You lose your
passion to succeed, excel, compete, and give back to society.

By consciously becoming aware of your Self-Talk, you will
rekindle your passion for life, stop playing the victim, and
move with confidence toward successful outcomes.

work for it, instead clinging to the belief there is some
sort of whiz-bang magic button that is going to bring in

The problem with most article marketing is people typically
get lured into bad habits when it comes to executing a

the three simple steps that practically guarantee success:

1. Ditch the Directories

The major article directories are old, tired and thoroughly
worn out repositories of information. The reality today is
that aside from other authors nobody really reads them,
people don't find them when looking in the search engines
and the articles on them are scraped to make junk content
sites. The good news is that there are thousands of
legitimate online publications in every topic imaginable
with readers who want good quality articles.

Start tracking down publishers by using your favorite
search engine or browsing through the ezine directories.
Then put together a list of email addresses of real
publishers and every time you write an article email each
one a copy.

2. Fire the Ghostwriter

Ghostwriters certainly have their place, but the problem is
that it can be very hard to find a ghostwriter than can
convey the same amount of passion or firsthand knowledge on
a subject as someone who lives and breathes it... this
results in a very plain high school sounding essay that is
going to detract anyone from reading it. So when first
starting, if your market is something you have a lot of
passion for you will be much better off writing the
articles yourself then sourcing them out.

3. Ditch Duplicate Content

It used to be that you could use the same exact article
over and over again on many sites with great results.
Unfortunately, today the gig is up and the search engines
are cracking down on duplicate content and penalizing such
practices. Today the best way to get the most mileage from
your articles is to submit a unique article to each
publisher on your list. Don't start using garbage spinners
or other software programs to try and make it easier to
create unique articles, these types of programs are just
littering the Internet with all sorts of junk.

A successful article marketing campaign really is that
simple! If you closely follow these three golden rules for
crafting and distributing your articles to real publishers
you will reap rewards for a very long time.
