I have a question about beaming over barlines - I've got Finale 2005,
and I downloaded a copy of your tool for evaluation. The one case
where it doesn't seem to work is trying to beam over rests, with
partial stems turned on, across a barline. I've got a polyrhythmic
thing going on and I need to preserve my groupings.

Take for instance a beamed group of one eigth note followed by two
eigth rests; the eight note is at the end of one measure and both
rests are at the beginning of the next. I can fudge it manually
without the plugin using the 'too many notes in a measure' method, as
long as it isn't over a system break.

Right now my solution for system breaks is to use the custom line tool
with a line set to the same width as my beams and 6pt stems from the
maestro font at an endpoint to fake the partial stems, as text on the
endpoints is preserved vertical. Sometimes I have to overlap two of
these lines.

Any better ideas? Could beam-over-barlines-over-rests wind up in a
future version of your plugin?
