The plugin currently cannot handle beams where an endpoint is a rest. The
endpoints have to be notes. (It will handle cases where rests are in the
middle.)

There are currently no plans to add support for rests on the endpoints. You
might be able to get the plugin to help you by changing the endpoint rest to a
note, applying the plugin, then changing it back to a rest. But this might be
more hassle than it is worth.

I have a question about beaming over barlines - I've got Finale 2005, and I downloaded a copy of your tool for evaluation. The one case where it doesn't seem...
