This is the discussion group of the American Society of Indexers’ Periodical & Database Indexing Special Interest Group. Our members are individuals with an interest or background in indexing periodicals and databases. They work as freelance or in-house indexers for periodicals or as contract or in-house workers for database companies. Individuals who are not members of the SIG or the American Society of Indexers, but are regularly involved in periodical or database indexing, may join the discussion group on a case-by-case basis with approval of the moderator.
