The Press Club of California is a forum for all working journalists, foreign correspondents, stringers and regular freelancers as well as editors, reporters and photographers living in California.
Active membership is free and restricted to the working Press. All membership requests must be sponsored by one or more current active members. No other memberships are available (associate or corporate).

- the Club's Job Bank
- the "Monthly Mixer", a social event held in San Francisco and Silicon Valley every month

- special media-only events throughout the year (luncheons, galas, Press Awards Ceremony...)
- the Club's official Press ID smart card and the 2004 Calendar :-)
- and much more !
The Press Club of California is also happy to provide assistance to the "new reporter in town" and visiting journalists from out of State.
