I am looking for fleet maintenance software for propane and oil trucks.
I want to be able to track registrations, stickers, VK's, Hydro's, fire ext. as
well as preventative maintenance and repairs.
Alerts for due items would be a great feature, as well as being able to add or
customize fields.
Anyone using software that they would recommend that I should explore?
Thanks,
Scott

The Omni and CNN center got hit pretty hard. The GWCC got some damage
as well.
Luckily so far no one was reported killed, pretty amazing considering
the amount of glass and debris they showed on the news thrown around.
Two years ago there were tornados just outside Atlanta during the
convention.
When you hear about tornado's I think Kansas and the midwest states,
not Georgia.
Anyone from the area know if this is common in Atlanta?
What is the date code on the tank?

I love the way they say "The recall includes only those units
manufactured from February 2000 through December 2007".
Details,
Rinnai Recalls Wall Furnaces Due to Carbon Monoxide
Hazard
WASHINGTON, D.C. – The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in
cooperation with the firm named below, today announced a voluntary
recall of the following consumer product. Consumers should stop
using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed. (To
access color photos of the following recalled products, see CPSC's
Web site at www.cpsc.gov.)
Name of Product: Direct-Vent Wall Furnaces, Models RHFE 431 and RHFE
556
Units: About 52,000
Manufacturer: Rinnai America Corp., of Peachtree City, Ga.
Hazard: A gasket in the unit can fail, posing a risk of poisonous
carbon monoxide gas leaking into the home.
Incidents/Injuries: Rinnai has received 11 reports of carbon
monoxide leaking from the furnace. No injuries have been reported.
Description: The recall involves Rinnai EnergySaver Direct-Vent Wall
Furnaces, Models RHFE 431 and RHFE 556. They are either natural gas
or LP gas (propane) fueled. The following model numbers are
included in the recall:
Model RHFE-431
FAIII-N
FAIII-P
WTA-N
WTA-P
WTA-72B-N
WTA-76B-N
Model RHFE-556
FAIII-N
FAIII-P
WTA-N
WTA-P
The model number is printed on the top of the rating plate located
on the right side of the unit. The recall includes only those units
manufactured from February 2000 through December 2007. The
manufacturing date code is the first four digits of the serial
number, written as YY MM, and is located at the bottom of the rating
plate.
Sold through: Wholesale distributors nationwide to contractors and
dealers from February 2000 through December 2007 for between $1,600
and $1,900.
Manufactured in: Japan
Remedy: Consumers should stop using the furnace immediately and
contact the firm to arrange for the installation of a free repair
kit.
Consumer Contact: For additional information, contact Rinnai toll-
free at (866) 746-8344 anytime, or visit the firm's Web site at
www.wallfurnacerecall.com.
These tanks come new with an OPD valve, so if possible I'd like the
replacement to be OPD. From what I've determined I need a sherwood
inline OPD valve, 4.8" dip tube length, part PVE3349PDLG-404. I'm still
trying to source one of these.
I would bring the tank to one of your local propane suppliers (call
first to see if they re-certify tanks), if it is non-opd, it is
probably out of test date as well, that you can not do yourself.

I am still around! Just going through a VERY tough year! It is hard

am SORRY to have fallen off the boards of the group I started in 2003.

Hello Scott, we, meaning my father and I (the one who posted this) worked
with Motor on our last truck. Our bobtail, he did the propane conversion,
it was the last one he was ever going to do, (complete conversion). So,
my father was asking aside from him, is there anyone else. Will check out
those links.

Amity Shlaes recently wrote a book called, The Forgotten Man about the encroachment of socialism and how it exacerbated and extended the Great Depression. Milton Friedman also wrote a book in the 1960's called Capitalism and Freedom, which may help you get your head and heart around today's woes.
Frankly, since before the market hit 14,000 I foresaw this happening. People are living in houses made of cards in a nation built on debt and IOU's. If the socialist medical system introduced by Hillary and her allies come to fruition, it will cost, on their estimation, as much as it costs to run 6 of the Federal cabinet-level departments (including Homeland Security). And just as FDR ran the struggling economy into the ground with increased government spending and taxation of income, so we are headed in the same direction.
It was needful to lower the discount rate, but then our banking industry went to the discount window like a bunch of jonesing crack-whores and pulled out more money. And with this Sub-prime mortgage bail out as introduced by President Bush, it was only inevitable that the interest rates would be cut. Instead of being punished by market forces, we are rewarding the foolish and risky behavior of those who are now losing their homes. Lowering the rates will bump the market a slight bit, but it will come back with larger negative force as false confidence leads people to rack up more debt, continuing the addictive cycle.
There were runs on the bank in Great Britain my friend. We are one incident away from total collapse of the dollar world-wide. This may be the incident:

History is repeating itself in spades. Economically, we are in the late 1920's. On the world stage, we are in the Fall of 1939 with Iran. And we are in the heat of the Cold War again with China, Russia, Cuba, and Venezuela (all who have an hand in world trade and oil supplies).
