There was also one (I think) in a park off Goss Rd at Virginia.

That would have been around the early 70's. Really taxing the memory now.

regarding the FM at wavell heights

i remember seeing it tucked in beside a house on the right hand side of the road
[heading towards sandgate road side]

now it could be Rode rd as i used both at the time in the 1980-1990 era

the area was on the hill on rode rd between evans st and shaw rd

or

on hamilton rd between bayview tce and bilsen rd

but i am inclined to think it was on rode rd wavell heights

i never stopped to get the number or take a picture
