I know this doesn't answer your question, but I don't use Internet Explorer 8
very much any more. When I did, I don't recall it interfering with QP.

Most of the time I used Firefox. I think it is MUCH better...and it is a free
download.

The only thing I use Internet Explorer 8 for is for MSN Money and that is
because Microsoft set it up so that it only works with their software.

I think Firefox runs more efficiently..it has many many free add ons that do
different things that you can add if you want and is updated much much more
often.

Just my opinion.
