Hi Dick,
Have just found my original PRR module zip file.
I located a second problem which could be causing you a problem.
In the zip file when unzipped you end up with a folder PRR, you open that to find another PRR, open this and you find the various file folders for the locos etc.
If you read the script you will find only one Prr refered too.
IE. PRR\ti etc
This refers to PRR folder\Ti Folder
At the moment you have PRR PRR Ti
The script can't find the trains as there is no folder labeled this.
You then have 2 alternatives, either go through the script and add the extra PRR\ to everything in the script.
Or secondly and much easier:
Rename the original PRR folder PRR1
Again open this folder and you will find the second folder PRR
Highlight this folder and the cut it,
Paste it back into the railway 32 directory where all your other folders are.
You will now have 2 folders PRR and PRR1
Open the PRR file and this should give the rain files folders
Open PRR1 should be an empty folder, Delete it.
Now the script can find the trains as you have PRR\Ti etc
Not PRR\PRR\Ti
Give that ago an see what happens.
Please get back to me if any problems.

Thank you for your thorough description of how to make the Pennsy
modules work on Railway 32.  So far, I have not had any luck with
isolating the scripts, but I'll continue to play with it.  I simply want
to get any and all of the PRR locomotives involved in whatever activities
I can.

G'Day Richard,
I had the same problem sometime back and subsequently the Pennsy
module sat on my computer doing nothing.
When I learnt a little more about it I realized the problem lay in
that no trains were defined in the scenes.
To solve the problem you have
Open the EDIT SCRIPT in the menu where your have PRR.
If you have PRR installed in the custom script you need to opwen
custom and then edit script.
Alternatively you can go to the Railway 32 folder and edit the
custom script.
At the start of the PRR script you will find the name PRR then the
definition statements.
Define locomotive etc. Hightlight all of these statements, the train
definitions,{the Define statements},
Copy them and paste back in after the headings for each of the
various Pennsy scenes.
So you should have the name of the various scenes followed by the
define statements, all the rest is fine.
If you dont have the difinitions of the various locomotives and
trains for each scene they will not work.
If necessary before you get everything going change the colour or
font type of the copy so you can see if anything goes wrong.
Once you have done this, save and run the various scenes, everything
should work fine.
Any problems don't hesitate to get back to me.
I have changed my layout of the screen Saver but if I can find the
old Pennsy script I could send it to you.
Let me know how you get on.
Regards
Greg.

This is the eternal question! Matthew is very compliant with screensaver
requests, and has done a wonderful set on the Long Island Rail Road at my
request. You can download those AFTER you download the original British
package. They integrate perfectly, and you can run a lovely rush hour
from 50 years ago.
Matthew has assured me that he will be doing something similar with the
PRR material.

New on my site: Manitou and Pike's Peak Railway railcar #14. This car
and its three siblings were built for the Colorado, USA mountain rack
railway by the Swiss Locomotive Works at Winterthur, and are very
typical Swiss mountain equipment running far from its builder.

The M&PPR is an Abt-system rack railway climbing Pike's Peak in
Colorado, 14,110 feet (4300 m) above sea level.

A sudden burst of inspiration produced drawings of Manitou and Pike’s Peak Railway GE locomotive #10 and passenger car, in both liveries carried.  The Manitou and Pike’s Peak is a rack-and-pinion railway using the Abt rack system climbing Pike’s Peak in Colorado (USA), making it the highest railway in North America.  The M&PPR dieselized in the 1940s and 1950s using four of these GE diesel-electric rack locomotives pushing single passenger cars, a homebuilt locomotive/car combo and a single gasoline-electric railcar.  In the early 1970s the primary equipment became four railcars built by the Swiss Locomotive Works; a further two two-car railcars have since been bought from SLM.

Pictures and download link are at:

http://byz.org/~morven/Railway32/mpp/index.html

Unfortunately no railway screensaver allows me to use correctly sloped track for these units!  The M&PPR has an average gradient of 16%.

That's what I thought you meant; however, there is a big legal difference

There's not a huge amount, but there's LIRR MP54 cars too (two liveries
times two body versions) and the Long Island G5.

I recently obtained a drawing of one type of LIRR bi-level car, and I
suspect I'll be adding that one at some time too.

I already know your web site, and your drawings are already used by my

Richard was writing about an entire LIRR fleet, but I just found a diesel
locomotive on the "diesel" page.

My train drawings are explicitly NOT public domain and I retain all
copyright.

However, they may be freely redistributed and modified with no binding
conditions. I *ask* (but do not require nor enforce) that attribution is
given if you redistribute them or use them as a basis for a derived work.

Since I retain the copyright, however, you may NOT claim copyright to them

Functionally identical to public domain in most aspects, though. They are
