Railspot is a regional railfan list server whose purpose is
to allow those railfans in the states of Texas, New Mexico,
Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana to swap information
that may be of use to those who are interested in the operation
of area railroads.

Posts to the Railspot list should focus on railroad operating
information, train sightings, history, photo/watching locations,
trip reports, accessibility of sites, security/safety, where permission
can be obtained from railroads, rail stories, area conventions,
book reviews, video reviews , railroad related web sites and similar
factual information. Tactful (rail related) humor in any post is always welcome.
