This group is for you, the rail enthusiast who loves to share photos and other interests pertaining to Maintenance-of-Way equipment. This group covers Maintenance-of-Way equipment from any railway located anywhere around the world. Any track gauge of any railway, past or present, is up for discussion.

Share your photos, questions or comments on everything from regulators to tampers to cabooses to snowplows to jiggers and track evaluation vehicles. Everything in between is entirely acceptable. Railway vehicles used solely off-rail are also thoroughly permitted. Experiences working within the trade is also welcome, but please be respectful of others in conversation.

Posting sightings of Maintenance-of-Way equipment is also encouraged. Other members may just use your reports for their benefit.

Anything else that may be of interest, feel free to let the group know.

I used Eudora and Avast and have noticed that I have never received notices from YG that new members are pending to join this group. Right from the first few members, I have had them waiting for a week. That's not my style to let anyone get frustrated waiting, so I apologise. If I don't get to you ASAP, it's not my ignorance, but lack of being notified by the YG server.
