Hello everyone,
My name is Judy and I'm a Recreation Therapist at the Dr. Vernon Fanning Care
Centre in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I have been working as the Computer lab
co-ordinator since May 2006. We have 5 PC's hooked up to the internet in one
room. The residents live here and have free access to the computers 24/7.
I have a variety of different residents coming to the lab. Many of them have
varying physical & cognitive abilities. They range in age from 30's to 80's.
I have bought some adaptive equipment such as Zoomtext, Kensington trackball
mice, Big track ball with a buddy button, Big Keys keyboard.
I'm interested in finding out what others are using and what resources you're
using. I purchased most of the adaptive equipment from Aroga and have received
a catalog fromt the Tool Factory.
I look forward to hearing from the group.
