Description

This group discusses the capabilities, functions and uses of RightEdge. RightEdge is an ATS-development platform based on .NET 2.0. “ATS” stands for “Automatic Trading System”. This group is open to discussions about automatic trading systems in general, with emphasis on how they may be developed and used in RightEdge.

Strategies are coded in VB or C#, although there is also a no-code drag-and-drop capability. Charting with all kinds of indicators is provided, with back testing and optimization. It interfaces to IB, OpenTick and Yahoo among other places.

We do not tolerate spam, a lack of decorum or any other not-constructive material, at the discretion of the moderator. New members are moderated until their posts demonstrate on-topic content.

Handling loss limiting is trickier than first meets the eye: . A stoploss, if triggered, becomes a market order. That might not be what you want.
