Baras, Rizal was featured in the last episode of BUHAY PINOY
telacast at RPN9 last Saturday at 1pm-2pm.Its almost a 45-minutes
documentary on the latest attraction of the town aside from the oldest
church in Rizal located at Baras which was built in the early 17th
century.The focused of the docu was the annual TROMBA celebration held
last Labor day which was an affair highlighted by the street dancing
and the pluvial procession along Baras River. There was also street
fiesta where food were served to all residents, which was the first
ever held in Rizal.
All attractions of the town was featured including the existing and
newly built resorts blooming around the area ; the largest golf course
in the country ; the Foremost Farm ; the Palo Alto Residential Estate
being develop by Sta. Lucia and foremost , the oldest church which is
the St.Joseph Parish Church ( pic in our home page).
It was also featured the first non-organic farming in the country
that is being experimented at Bo. Santiago.
I hope that the said documentary will enlighten future investors on
the real and distinct identity of the town which is a very serene
countryside town ideal for a peaceful setting of a dream house and yet
very near the metropolis.
