Baras, Rizal was featured in the last episode of BUHAY PINOY

century.The focused of the docu was the annual TROMBA celebration held
last Labor day which was an affair highlighted by the street dancing
and the pluvial procession along Baras River. There was also street
fiesta where food were served to all residents, which was the first
ever held in Rizal.
All attractions of the town was featured including the existing and
newly built resorts blooming around the area ; the largest golf course
in the country ; the Foremost Farm ; the Palo Alto Residential Estate
being develop by Sta. Lucia and foremost , the oldest church which is
the St.Joseph Parish Church ( pic in our home page).
It was also featured the first non-organic farming in the country
that is being experimented at Bo. Santiago.
I hope that the said documentary will enlighten future investors on
the real and distinct identity of the town which is a very serene
countryside town ideal for a peaceful setting of a dream house and yet

Baras, though one of the smallest town in Rizal is not only
famous for its serene and healthy environment but for its rich
historical value.The Baras Catholic Church was built in the 17th
century and considered the oldest in the province.It has survived the

and tv programs being shoot at present, only prove to show that the
church is one of the best architectural edifice in the country.
At present, CHANNEL 2's MANGARAP KA Teleserye is being shoot at
the town itself and in most scenes at the church. It stars Piolo
Pascual, one of the most sought actors today. The story begins at
Quiapo and transcends to the small town of Baras.

Its a good news that finally the LRT2 is now operational. When
offering properties in rizal, you can add mention to your
prospective buyers that it is now more convenient to reach any town
in Rizal with the LRT2 in operation. I have once took a ride and I
cannot believe it that it only took me around 30 minutes reach
Cainta Junction from Mendiola. To give you a clearer idea, from
Mendiola Station, it will take you around 15 minutes going to
Santolan Station in Marikina. You can took a ride from that station
to Cainta Junction and the trip is around another 15 minutes.From
Junction to Baras is about 30 to 45 minutes.You can imagine that
Mendiola to Baras will only take you around 1hr and 15 minutes!
Another good news, the Avenida station of Lrt 2 will eventually
operational soon and GMA's planning to extend the eastbound stations
up to Masinag in Antipolo(additional 4 stations, one of which is
exactly at Sta.Lucia Mall and Robinsons East in Cainta).
DPWH is planning to put up another LRT Line from Shaw Blvd. to
Taytay, Rizal and it will surely pass by Cainta, Junction.Its
another future development which will surely solve the traffic
problems along Ortigas Center.
