Who: Salt Lake City-area media outlets are invited to attend this
unusual gathering of locomotives for the first of its kind "class photo."

photographers.

Why: Union Pacific created its specially painted heritage locomotive
series in honor of the thousands of men and women who help deliver the
materials that fuel the nations' economy. Through the years, a series of
mergers helped Union Pacific create the largest railroad in North America.
Incorporating elements of these railroads' past, the series focuses on the
immeasurable contributions of the people and the railroads that have made
Union Pacific what it is today.
