THE RULES (adapted from the JimsJobs Yahoo Group):

DO NOT spam this list with anything that isn't related to employment or careers.

DO post your resume (this is a bit different) - however: text only! NO ATTACHMENTS! Otherwise, add your resume to the "Files" section, and check the "Send a message to the group announcing this file."

DO send comments and questions intended for the list owner to the list owner ONLY, at sdnadminjobs-owner@yahoogroups.com, not to the entire group.

DO use a header for your postings. See guidelines and examples below:

Header Guidelines
(intro) - introduce yourself to the group, say why you're here, and what you can offer to the community, etc.
(resource) - a good resource for help with the job hunt (such as a web site, job search support group, job leads mailing list, etc.)
(article) - points to informative news articles (please only post URLs and excerpts, not entire articles)
(job) - Post Job Opportunities
(disc.) - To discuss ONLY RELEVANT TOPICS: which include un/employment, interview tips, job leads, who is hiring, industry conditions, etc.

Job Posting Format:
Title - Company - Location (city/state/country if int'l)
Examples:
(job) Jr. Systems Admin - LocalISP - Modesto, CA
(job) Sr. Sysadmin - BigCorporation - NY, NY
(job) Sybase Database Admin - LocalCorp - Half.com, Oregon
