Is this Really Relief!?

The Bush administration is at it again. They've now come up with a new
stop gag program not really designed to solve any of the problems home
owners are having with the economy and crazy mortgages! However, I
guess yet again.....it is something...



"PROJECT LIFELINE"

Home owners are allowed a 30 day reprieve on Foreclosure. The aim is
to give the lenders and clients more time to come up with a viable
solution. You know the same options re-fi, forbearance, short sale or
SLOW DEATH !



It is not clear who qualifies for the 30 day "Pause". It just says
lenders will contact individuals who qualify. Actually, I had a call
yesterday from a new client who thought they qualified...alas however
they did not. Like many Bush aide programs for debt relief there are
barriers.

* NO BANKRUPTCIES
* IF YOU HAVE A 30 DAY NOTICE ALREADY....NO DICE!
* INVESTMENT PROPERTIES OR SECOND HOMES....YOU GUESSED IT!


In my opinion (which really doesn't amount to much) this can't be
the best they could do?! Certainly, the best minds can come up with
better solutions to an epidemic than this! I imagine no one wants to
really commit due to the election year, but honestly it may be too
late if they are waiting for the new administration.

It has been said that we will double the amount of foreclosures
from last year! I don't know about you, but I thought last year was
TERRIBLE!

Nevertheless, I thought i'd share this information to you! I'm
sure it will assist some of our clients and hopefully make a difference.
