Best practices include the testing of various rule categories attached to the fares. Then, the fares can be compared among the GDSs. Nicholas Bredimus, president of Bredimus Systems, says "AFS incorporates the billing information data tapes (BIDT) from the GDSs and processes them in the Bredimus system to generate marketing and financial reports such as overall agent sales, passive bookings, duplicated reservations, and wait-listed bookings."
