The SMT Stock Group is a focus group of the Society Of Market Technicians, a non-profit educational organization dedicated to the technical analysis of financial markets. Formerly, the DC area Telescan User's Group and more recently a scion of the Society of Market Technicians, the stock focus group met monthly to discuss methods and tools used to select, analyze and trade stocks and mutual funds.

We no longer meet monthly but rather maintain this Yahoo Group for online discussion of stocks and technical analysis. Membership into this group is by invitation, by personal reference or for SMT members.
