He also told me that soon the user interface will be improved to make actually applying for a job more straightforward.

 

If you have any questions just let me know.

Responsibilities

  • Identify target customers and markets, develop appropriate product strategies for current and future embedded platforms.
  • Work with Sales & Marketing in conducting competitive analysis and market research.

Requirements 

  • 10+ years of product management and experience with the following environments/types of products: SDKs; hardware products; software and hardware interfaces; embedded operating systems; application security hardware and software would be a plus; network security desirable.
  • Excellent track record of successfully launching technically sophisticated software products to market.
  • Excellent analytical, project management and negotiating skills are essential.
  • Superior oral and written communication skills.
  • Must possess a strong technical aptitude along with a strong marketing and business sense
  • Must be willing to work both at the strategic and implementation levels in order to get the job done
  • Should be reasonably technical and have experience working with sales professionals selling solutions
  • Must have experience engaging directly with customers in pre-sales calls.
  • Small company experience desirable
  • Experience in partnering with other companies to provide wide “go to market” coverage a definite plus.

  • Product Support:  Coordinates with Customer Care to ensure adequate product knowledge and support and with other relevant operational groups to ensure smooth product launches. Works closely with Project Managers to ensure full technical preparation for planning and launching product testing and rollouts. Helps support product development through monitoring customer feedback during testing phases and after product has been released.

 

SECONDARY DUTIES:

 

  • Product Marketing: Performs Product Marketing responsibilities such as copywriting, promotion, planning, and sign up initiatives on products when appropriate.
  • Strategy: Participates in development of product roadmaps that outline the future strategy and phases for assigned products.

The Product Manager is a hands-on professional responsible for all phases of product development, from concept through release.  Product Managers analyze and integrate requirements from multiple sources and synthesize these requirements into a vision for future development to ensure that products are built to meet high standards, all requirements have been communicated, and client expectations have been met or exceeded.  A strong background in product development, project management, education and team leadership is required.  The successful candidate will have a desire to improve education through the use of technology.

 

 

Primary Responsibilities

·         Identify product requirements through interaction with sales & marketing, technology, client services, as well as with clients

·         Prioritize and translate requirements into product vision and drive launch / release strategy

·         Interact with existing and potential clients and provide pre- and post-sales support

Key responsibilities:

•           Work closely with product management to understand product and service features, functionality and customer benefits.

•           Oversee the planning and execution of all launch activities—from initial development of a comprehensive Launch Kit, to ongoing cross-functional meetings tracked by a launch schedule.

•           Manage product marketing efforts on an ongoing basis with internal departments and third party providers as appropriate.

•           Work with the install-based and primary marketing divisions on positioning for direct mail, email, collateral etc. and act as liaison between marketing, sales and production.

•           Work with Web, PR, Advertising and Events team to elevate the ACT! brand and ensure product positioning is accurate.

•           Participate in and be responsible for high-level overview during sales training and production of requisite sales tools/collateral for products and services  (spec sheets, FAQs, web demos, etc.).

•           Determine, initiate and maintain effective Bill of Materials (BOM) for products within budget.

•           Present and demo products and services as needed for internal (sales, executives) and external parties (customers/industry leaders/press/analysts).

•           Generate and maintain competitive matrix for products and services, with input from product managers. 

•           Assist in the launch and maintenance of the customer reference program.

•           Continually seek new ways of improving existing processes or introduce new processes to bring efficiency and value to the business.

 

Required Qualifications:

•           Four-year college degree in a relevant field (marketing, business administration, and business communications) preferred.

•           At least 2 years of product marketing/marketing experience ideally in a commercial business application software environment, or related industry.

•           Must be able to work in a fast-paced, multi-task, deadline-driven work environment

•           Strong written communication skills are a must

•           Proven track record of launching new products on time.

•           Demonstrable accomplishment of process improvements and/or introduction of new processes resulting in increased business efficiency.

Job Title & Location: Product Marketing Manager, Mountain View, California

Job Description:  Looking for a results-driven Product Marketing professional to help define and drive product marketing activities for Cast Iron’s direct and channel businesses.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·         Help develop the positioning and messaging for Cast Iron’s solution offerings

·         Create appropriate sales tools for each solution offering to arm the field organization:  presentations, demonstrations, data sheets, white papers, competitive analysis, etc.

·         Perform market research and competitive analysis illustrating strengths and weaknesses of each competitor

·         Help develop pricing, packaging and discounting policies for Cast Iron’s solution offerings

·         Drive product launch activities

·         Perform Win/Loss analysis and determine predictive models

·         Work closely with product management to translate product features into key benefit areas

·         Represent the Company at tradeshows, events, and seminars

·         Assist the field team in consultative selling scenarios to WIN customers

 

Requirement Qualifications:

 

·         7+ years product marketing experience for innovative high growth enterprise software products

·         Demonstrated track record of successfully performing the above key responsibilities for direct and indirect channels

·         Experience working in start-ups essential

·         Demonstrated successful track record in Solutions Marketing

·         Domain expertise in the EAI field or ERP/CRM applications a big plus

·         B.S. or related technical degree needed; M.B.A. preferred
