Could be a faulty potentiometer in the throttle pot. Changing it may fix intermittent hesitations and quirky pedal actions. A potentiometer costs about 15.00.

Another Dead Kilovac
Coming up a hill, the BANG!!!. Tried to restart, runaway syndrome - shut everything down. This also blew my contactor. BTW the Kilovac was NOT in a Sparrow,
