Community - Learning - Networking
The Jobs Ministry at St. Thomas is a faith-based ministry designed to assist the unemployed Job seekers to find meaningful employment. Our Jobs Ministry does not necessarily guarantee the Job seeker a job but we hope to provide the tools to finding employment.
COMMUNITY:
- Friday morning networking sessions at 9:30 in the Lighthouse at St. Thomas
- Evening meetings take place the last Thursday evening of each month featuring a motivational/educational speaker.
LEARNING:
- Various courses are presented during the year including: Job Placement and Six Sigma Green Belt Training/Certification.
NETWORKING:
- Job leads are shared through our e-mail network
- Volunteer Networking/Contacts from parish members and alumni
- Weekly and Monthly networking meetings
Please register your information in the JOB SEEKERS database. To do this, click on the link "Database" on the left menu, then click on the "Job Seekers Listing", then click on "Add Record" and fill in your information. To save your information, make sure you click on "Add Record" at the bottom.
There are 2 ways to forward job leads to our group:
1. Click Post on the menu at the left and compose your message
2. Just forward your job lead to st_thomas_jobsministry@yahoogroups.com from the e-mail address you registered with in this group
