NO JOINING REQUIRED! The message board can be read WITHOUT the need to join, although membership is open to anyone to apply if they feel they want to. That advantage is access to the DATABASE file PHOTO section, where you can view an exclusive library of historic modern negatives, from this NewsGroup owners own picture library. Those that do join, you may require moderation on your first post. Direct and private messages are welcome too. Our own postings is our new way to enlighten visitors when changes have been made to The Sussex Transport Enthusiast Groups Web Site, which was set up in 2002 as a split from a more commercially oriented publishing web site of the sponsor during 2000.
The site was created and freely provided for Sussex Based Transport clubs, groups, societies, associations, and for preservation, along with a variety of operators within Sussex. The majority of the external links from the site are usually on a reciprocial basis, therefore furthering information both ways. A section of the site is set aside for freely hosted topics with their own area and Home Page.
Our transport topics are, but not only, highly biased towards Buses, including some operators who respond to link offers, while supporting local clubs, groups, road and rail preservation, with Local Authority & searchable site links too.
