The purpose of this group is to encourage members of Temple Isaiah in Lexington, MA to have an online forum for networking purposes. "Networking" can mean any of the following activities:

-- Posting job opportunities from companies you work at or know that are hiring.
-- Posting "personal want ads" and "60-second summaries" for people looking for work.
-- Requesting assistance for contacts at target companies, either for job searching or informational networking.
-- Requesting assistance for general business networking to create alliances that will lead to more customers for small businesses or sole proprietors.
-- Requesting assistance for resume critiques, advice on job searching, salary negotiation, etc.
-- Posting announcements for networking related events at the temple and from other temples and groups.

Try to keep the content related to networking, as opposed to posting sales pitches and advertisements. Feel free to post your resume or company summary in the Files section of the site and send a message to the group.

I think you get the idea. In this current economic downturn, it's critical that we come together as Temple Isaiah members, help each other out and tap the vast resources and expertise of our congregants.

For this online group to be useful, I would ask that everyone please contribute as much as possible. When you hear about a job opening, please post it. If you know of someone working at a company that another member is interested in speaking with, make the introduction. Networking is powerful, however, we all must be active givers and not just receivers!
