The Kennel Wolfpack Opportunity Fund (TKW) is a Marketocracy virtual mutual fund that invests based on macro analysis by Yahoo! member extremebricknmortar. Marketocracy is a website that funds investors with a virtual $1,000,000 and tracks their performance. Our objective is to integrate macro analysis with technical analysis to identify investments that are both likely to be significantly undervalued strategically and unlikely to sink lower tactically. To these puppies we then apply fundamental analysis to sort out the potential race dogs from the mutts. As you can see, TKW (the gold line) have had our ups and downs since November 2003. But overall we are #1, having handily outperformed, from bottom to top, the NASDAQ (blue), the DOW (gray), the S&P 500 (green), and the M100 (purple). As of the date of this chart (30 Sep 09), TKW is running at a compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of 4.7% since inception (7 Nov 03) compared with a 2.6% CAGR by the S&P 500 over the same time span. TKW has been ranked in the top 100 of Marketocracy’s 100,000+ portfolios seven times.
