Beware of the wolf (loan officer) dressed in sheep's clothing. If you don't know how mortgage loans are priced, you will more than likely be fleeced by the loan officer who will misrepresent the facts to generate undisclosed/underdisclosed profits.

The bottom line is this. If you aren't familiar with the terms "par" and "overage", you don't have a clue how to go about shopping for a mortgage. If you don't know the essential difference between a mortgage broker and direct lender, you will be putting your hard earned money at risk.
