Welcome Back Ian
AFAIK about half of the Gillig are on the property. They will not enter service until this Fall pending additional mods which include rear treadle steps and sensitive edge for the back doors. The about half of the buses on property have already recieved the red stripes though.
Upon checking out some of your photos, the trolleys usually go to woods for body work. They get there by operating over the 22 line to 20th and Tennesse where they use the APU to travel the reamining 1/4 mile to woods. when they are ready to leave, the APU back to 20th St followed by a shop truck in case the bus runs out of air or power and would push them back under the overhead.
Also, the gilligs are only replacing the New Flyers in the reserve fleet due to air standards. The New Orions are replacing those New Flyers that were not replaced by the Neoplan options in 2002.
Matt
