Web Site of the Day: FixDetroit6
Reconstructing major roadways in congested urban areas presents
a number of challenges.  Among them are keeping drivers informed.
The Michigan Department of Transportation is in the process of
rebuilding Michigan Route 6, along with portions of I-94 and I-75 in
and around Detroit.  The project's home page begins with an
overview map of the area.  From here you can click on one of eight
highway shields to get more details on that portion of the work.
Detours are a big part of the work, and while drivers can always
visit the site for updates they also have an option of getting detour
alerts e-mailed to them.

There is no Extra Edition today.
