This group is for risk managers, business managers, auditors, project managers, performance managers - anyone who has to manage risk and uncertainty at work.
It's a place to discuss and ask practical questions about topics at the frontier of risk and uncertainty management in any field. What is "embedding" and how do you do it? What are alternative risk register designs and is a risk register even a good idea? What would you do if your hands weren't tied by regulations. What can you do if they are? What people problems are important and how can they be tackled? How do you audit risk management? How do you show risks in reports? How can risk management be embedded in marketing, in planning, in anything?
If you join it is good to start with a posting introducing yourself. Past experience shows that PRACTICAL discussion is more popular, on the whole, than theoretical debate. The existing members include some very interesting people with good ideas and keen minds.
The list is managed by me, Matthew Leitch, and I'll eject spammers as necessary to keep the quality up.
I will do my best to encourage other interesting people to join in, and please feel free to invite anyone you think would benefit and enjoy the experience.
