There are quite a few carriers that will underwrite individual
disability insurance for sole proprietors. If you haven't shopped for
individual DI (as opposed to group coverage) you may be in for a
little sticker shock, but rest assured that there are many parameters
that you can control to help manage the premium cost. Putting DI
coverage in place is one of the services I provide my clients. Feel
