Ini pengalamanan saya waktu test BI (sekitar tahun 98), saya sampai
dengan tahap akhir (wawancara dengan direktur---- sayang gagal di kesehatan).
Pada tahap kedua yang saya ikuti waktu itu, test terdiri dari:
1. Pengetahuan Manajemen.
Buku yang saya sarankan adalah Pengantar Manajemennnya Hani Handoko,
dan cobalah untuk membaca lebih fokus pada perkembangan teori manajemen.
2. Pengetahuan Perbankan (dan syariah).
Buku yang saya sarankan adalah UU BI dan UU Perbankan. Disini
hampir semua materi dalam UU keluar. Anda bisa dapatkan UU tersebut di toko buku
ditempat anda tinggal. Jika lolos pada tahap ini, buku akan bermanfaat
untuk menjawab pertanyaan pada wawancara.
3. Bahasa Inggris
Sering-sering saja baca mengenai instilah perbankan dengan tidak
lupa mendalami gramar. Soalnya bahasa Inggris luamayan banyak kok. Mungkin akan
banyak istilah asing yang sebelumnya belum pernah kita baca (maaf yang sudah
pernah bacaa ya!!)
4. Hukum
Ada siapkan juag mendalami hukum perdata dan pidana, bahkan sekilas
baca mengenai hukum perkwainan.
5. Pengetahuan Umum
Disini lebih banyak pengaetahuan popluer dan update yang dikeluarkan,
mungkin sekarang ini seperti krisis irak, krisis nuklir korea utara, krisis NAD.
6. IT.
Test ini meliputi simbol-simbol, istilah IT dan komputer.
Test tersebut tidak harus anda kerjakan semua, dari 6 pilihan anda
diharuskan mengerjakan 2 yang wajib (kalao tidak salah : Bhs Inggris
dan Perbankan) dan 2 yang optional, misalnya anda orang akuntansi, mngkin
lebih baik memilih Pengeathuan Manajemen dan Hukum dibanding IT yang miungkn
tidak begitu anda kuasai. Semua soalnya sifatnya multiple choice. Cuma
sayang kita tidak tahu bagaimana metode penialiannya.
Kerjakan dengan tenang karena waktunya mencukupi, kalau testnya sampe
siang biasanya orang BI akan menyediakan makanan besar kok (dan enak lagi
he he he).
Jika anda sudah yakin dengan persiapan anda, yakinkan juga anda sehat
karena di test kesehatan nantinya seperti general check up. Kalau anda kena
kanker, DB, hepatitis, AIDS/HIV mugnkin akan susah tembus ke BI meskipun test
anda paling bagus. Tapi semua sudah anda yang mengaturnya kok!!! Jangan
terlalu berharap untuk diterima tetapi JANGAN PULA MENYERAH!!!!! SELAMAT

Iming-iming atau kata maniz itu sudah biasa dilontarkan untuk mendapatkan
sesuatu baik di tempat kerja ataupun dimana saja. Itu sudah lumrah saya
rasa.
Hayan perlu kita ingat dan kita koordinasikan sebelumnya kita terjun
kelapangan atau ketempat kerjaan yang baru dan kita perlu seharus cari tahu
apa itu bentuk perusahaanya atau siapa yang punyanya atau juga bagaimana
manajement perusahaannya. Karena antara PTA , PMA, PMDN ataupun Padat Karya
dan kita harus lihat siapa pemimpinya. Karena perusahaan asingpun tergantung
bangsanya karen aterus terus itu sangat sensitif terhadap manajemen
keperusahaan apakah dia Cina, Korea, As, Canada, australia, india atau
lainya itu udah pasti berbeda. Tapi selama ini yang paling enak itu
managemen orang2 di luar ASIA baik dari segi Salary ataupun Loyalitas kita
itu mereka hargai sekali.
Ada negara berinisial C seperti yang sedang saya tempati ini sangat2 pelit
sama gaji tetapi ilmu dia tidak begitu pelit dan mereka bukan credibilitas
kerja yang dinilai tapi Lobby dan pendekatan yang akurat untuk kenaikan gaji
atau permohonan lembur, yang penting kita sering pulang di luar batas jam
kerja ya udah minta lemburan itu gampang.
Nah sekarang kalo kendala Mba Shavina demikian ya udah tinggal laukan
konsekwensi dan komitment jam kerja yang telah di sepakati bersama, khan ada
KKB nya ?

Pengalamanku pernah seperti itu, jadi memang kita harus berhati-2 dengan
silat lidahnya si interview sebab kita bisa terjbeak sendiri maka untuk itu
kedepannya kita harus lebih menekankan masalah nine hour dan over time.
sebenarnya kita bisa deteksi koq kebenaran omongan si interview itu or
decision makernya.
Banyak cara perusahaan mencari new employee dengan berbagai taktik dengan
maksud agar si new employee tersebut tidak mendapat sebanyak-banyaknya gaji
yang dibawa pulang atau memang sudah ada yang plant controller finance gaji
karyawan jadi gaji kita sudah di plantkan seberapa banyak yang didapat.
kalo anda sudah berkeluarga atau suami kerja ya sebaiknya tunggu yang baru
tapi kalo masih single ya silahkan.

perusahaan, tentunya ada peraturan tertulis yg berlaku entah itu berupa
Peraturan Perusahaan atau KKB (Kesepakatan Kerja Bersama). Keduanya merujuk
pada Peraturan Menteri Tenaga Kerja. Seharusnya kita sbg karyawan mendapatkan
satu copy-nya. Nah, dari situ kita dapat mengetahui bagaimana peraturan lembur
dan resign.
Umumnya jika kita bekerja lebih dari 8 jam sehari, sisanya pasti dihitung
lembur. Apapun jenis pekerjaannya.
Perhitungan Upah lembur berdasar SK Menaker No KEP-72/MEN/1984 :
Upah lembur per jam = 1/173 x GP
Hari biasa :
Jam ke - 1 = 1.5 x Upah lembur per jam
Jam ke - 2 dst = 2 x Upah lembur per jam
Hari libur
Jam ke-1 s/d 7 = 2 x Upah lembur per jam
Jam ke -8 = 3 x Upah lembur per jam
Jam ke -9 dst = 4 x Upah lembur per jam
Hari libur jatuh pd hari kerja pendek :
Jam ke-1 s/d 3.5 = 2 x Upah lembur per jam
Jam ke-4.5 = 3 x Upah lembur per jam
Jam ke 5.5 dst = 4 x Upah lembur per jam

I have the same problem with blue bear.
Tp pertanyaan saya, bukannya selama masa probation it's ok to get out w/out 1
month notice? Soalnya .... I'm worried, salah satu pegawai ada yg dlm masa
probation tiba2 langsung disuruh angkat kaki hari itu juga. I'm afraid that
it'll happen to me too, jd sebelum ditendang, keluar duluan aja. Soalnya saya
sudah tidak merasa comfort kerja di sini lagi.
Saya juga baru 1 bulan kerja di sini, so I think it'll be better for me to get
out of there a.s.a.p, jd saya bisa konsentrasi mencari pekerjaan lain. Di
kontrak dituliskan bahwa dlm masa probation sewaktu2 salah satu pihak boleh
mengundurkan diri sewaktu2. Jd saya hand in my resignation letter to my boss and
they refuse it, dengan alasan akan sulit mencari pengganti dan pekerjaan yang
telah saya lakukan telah cukup baik.
So? sebaiknya gimana? Give me advice, please. Soalnya kantor tempat saya kerja
seemed like doesn't give a damn about employee that much. Sekarang mungkin saya
kerja baik2 aja, but who know's? sometime they can kick me out, kan?

kerjaan overtime manajemen karena waktu interview khan tidak ada
penjelasan soal ini (mungkin harus dicros check dengan
penginterview waktu itu)
kalau memang tidak ada overtime kerjaan manajemen, pilihannya
tinggal dua, take it or leave it, karena manajemen juga tidak
mungkin meng"anakemas"kan kamu, biasanya overtime sudah termasuk di
gaji kecuali level buruh atau on request (customer)
Untuk masa probation, emang tidak harus 1 bulan sebelumnya kalau
mau resign, cukup 1 minggu sebelumnya saja, toh kamu masuk baik2
sudah seyogyanya keluar baik2.
