This group is dedicated to the active management of the Verizon 401k plan. New members are moderated for a period of time and then move to an unmoderated status. The group is open to everyone, especially employees of Verizon.

Your 401k is most likely the biggest investment account you'll ever have. I encourage members to get the most out of it that they can. Increase your year to date by using a value investing philosophy on the order of Warren Buffet and Benjamin Graham.

I also encourage member to diversify by opening up a Fidelity IRA, and use their 401k to capitalize it. Fidelity usually uses VZ shares to do this, thereby decreasing your exposure to the VZ ticker and maximizing your diversification.
