The Volunteer Railroaders Association runs many railroad related projects and is dedicated the creation of the NJ State Transportation Museum. We run train trips, motor car meets and other railroad projects as a way of meeting that goal. We own and operate 4 motor cars, including a one of a kind Lehigh and New England Sheffield 40B and lease and maintain the NYS&W Hawthorne Station. We have found that when a bunch of good people get together for a common cause they can do anything. Our history proves that! We use this group as a communications tool for our members. Membership in the VRA is only $20.00 plus we ask that you stay active to keep your membership up. Click on the e-mail link for more info about joining the VRA and find out why we say, being a member is "so close to railroading, only the paycheck is missing".
