This site is dedicated to the memory of my good friend and apartment owner Connie Newman. She was the inspiration in this "Landlord Club" and the voice of W. 142nd Street.

Dear Property Owners, Managers, and Tenants:

I am proud to say that this group site has come a long way in making our neighborhood a better place to live. Through your efforts and the constant contact with Hawthorne City Hall and the Police Department we have an enacted change for the better.

More landlords, managers, and tenants will also be joining this site very soon as I plan to advertise it throughout the city. City Hall has also enacted a new loitering ordinance that will come into effect in April 2006. This new ordinance will prohibit loitering and sitting on cars. So, let’s keep up the good work, and let’s keep working with our friends in City Hall! Keep in touch.
